Who Are We?
President & Co-Founder
Mary is the Co-Founder and President of Dragonfly Ministries and is passionate about leading others into life changing relationships with Jesus Christ. She is a national speaker for women’s conferences, retreats and seminars. She currently serves as Director of Guest Services at Christ Church Lake Forest, IL where she is responsible for recruiting, training, encouraging and directing volunteers. She has also ministered through her previous church affiliation as Women’s Ministry Director and participated in other nonprofit ministries, including Stonecroft Ministries, MOPS, Iron Sharpens Iron and SOAR Conferences. She serves as Field Education mentor for Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois.
Mary has a heart for women’s discipleship and encouraging others to pursue God. Her captivating testimony chronicles a journey of relying on God’s strength and guidance through a decision to donate her kidney to a neighbor. This story is a wonderful description of what it means to honor God with our lives. Mary enjoys hiking and is hoping to bag a peak or two this summer in the Adirondacks; she enjoys travel, reading and spending time with friends. Mary lives in Chicagoland (Illinois), but travels to Wisconsin and Texas as often as possible to spend time with her children and grandchildren.
Mary’s chief calling is to reflect God’s light, joy, and love so that others will be drawn to Him–the source of life– as referenced in Matthew 5:16: “Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.”

Vice President & Co-Founder
Martha exudes the joy of the Lord as her true heart’s desire is to be used by God, no matter the location or cost, and to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In fact, she has traveled the world as a laboror during 30 different mission trips where she has shared her biblical knowledge and essentially helped “set the captive free.”
Martha’s passion is to help women to recognize worldly lies and to counter them with Biblical truths. She actively disciples teenagers and young married women as well where God consistently uses her to ignite the healing process – healing from abuse, broken homes and marriages, and from situations where these individuals have been beaten down to such an extent they believe they are not worthy of God’s love.
Martha’s wisdom and positive influence extends to people outside of the church doors as she has served as a Counselor for the Crisis Center and the Juvenile Detention center. She has also directed the ESOL (English as a Second Language) program, which signifies her ability to diversify her talents in a foreign language.
Martha shares her vision with women during Dragonfly Ministries retreats and is available for other speaking engagements as well.
Martha and her husband, Doyle, reside in Little Elm, Texas. She is the proud mother of her daughter, Amy, and an even prouder grandmother. Her personal journey in life can be summed up in Isaiah 61:1-3.
